Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage fund lifecycle activities, such as fund openings/closings, migrations, mergers/segmentations and in-kind transactions
  • Support operational E2E migration approach by contributing contractual alignment, e.g. transfer agreements, negotiate operational aspects of Service Level Agreements and coordinating the same with relevant parties,
  • execute portfolio-analysis of fund structures, identifying relevant product gaps/setups, the different included asset types and possibly needed market accounts to open
  • Collaboration with other relevant departments (Client Service Management, Relationship Management, Business Implementation, Custody, Investment Compliance, Fund Accounting, etc.)
  • In-depth expertise in international settlement, including detailed knowledge of market regulations for managing asset transfers and re-alignments with internal & external stakeholders
  • Coordinate market account lifecycle processes for segregated markets within the Global Custody business for our service partners & clients
  • Participate in system testing initiatives, including non-regression tests, ensure data accuracy, system readiness, detailed test documentation and validation signoffs within our application and IT infrastructure
  • Engagement in internal and external audits

Profile

  • Completed short-cycle tertiary education (ISCED 5) or higher, paired with relevant professional experience of >5 years
  • Deep understanding of Fund Accounting and Settlement Operations, as well as knowledge of investment law framework conditions according to the KAGB
  • Able to work independently and apply processes with minimal guidance
  • Excellent team player, proactively sharing knowledge
  • Clear and structured communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong client orientation, capable of understanding and anticipating client needs, building trust, and taking ownership to ensure client satisfaction
  • Resilience and sound judgement under pressure, with the ability to manage competing demands, remain composed, and respond constructively to criticism and setbacks
  • A curious mindset with a willingness to contribute creative ideas, support continuous improvement efforts, and engage in innovation when relevant
