Event Manager (m/f/d), Ratingen

Missions

• You'll work closely with our team to understand our events and promotion activities inside out and then put together solid plans covering everything from budgets to timelines.
• You manage and conduct negotiations with our suppliers and Vendors successfully, making sure they deliver the goods on time and within budget.
• You'll be responsible for managing event budgets carefully, making sure we get value for money without cutting corners.
• You’ll be working across various departments, leading the coordination, delegating tasks, ensuring the flow of information to secure that everyone's working together smoothly to make our events a success.
• From transportation to equipment, you'll be the one sorting out all the logistic aspects that go into making our events happen.
• You'll be the friendly face our clients can rely on, keeping them updated every step of the way and making sure their expectations are met.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in event management or coordination, showing strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English and German proficiency at C1 level is a must; knowledge of French, Dutch, or any Nordic language is not a must but a bonus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work well with a variety of people.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate even schedules.
