Financial Analyst (m/f/d) for HGB/IFRS, Stuttgart

Tasks

• Support of Daimler Mobility AGs accounting and financial reporting (IFRS & HGB).
• Support of preparation, consolidation and review of financial statements for the Financial Services Division in accordance with IFRS and Daimler group requirements.
• Prepare all kind of management reports, analyses and presentations.
• Monitoring the reporting of DMO subsidiaries and ensuring the tight deadline in group closing is adhered to.
• Support the accurate and timeliness reporting/presentation for actual and planning periods.
• Build up, maintain and improve management reports and analysis tools.
• Gather information, evaluate data and prepare the reporting to head office and DMO senior management.
• Review all content for technical interpretation, strategy and consistency.
• Prepare and collate commentaries for variances analyses.
• Contact person for accounting matters of DMO subsidiaries.
• Liaise with controlling for information exchange and reconciliation.

Profile

Professional qualifications:

• Completed university degree in finance & accounting or similar graduation
• Several years of professional experience in a similar area
• Profound knowledge in HGB and IFRS
• Professional exams like ACCA/CIMA/CPA/German tax advisor or equivalents are helpful but not a must
• Familiarity with typical accounting systems like SAP
• Solid Excel skills
• Proficient English and German skills
