Test Engineer (m/f), Munich

Tasks

• Developing non-destructive test procedures (focus on ultrasonics)
• Producing test instructions
• Developing corresponding procedures based on image-based measurements and effects on component strength
• Inspecting new test procedures and their application in fault analysis
• Implementing destructive component analysis in agreement with the contracting body, and compiling follow-up documentation

Profile

You have the following skills and qualifications:

• University degree in engineering, aerospace engineering or similar
• Familiarity with fibre composites, their specific materials technology and their design and manufacturing characteristics
• Knowledge and experience of material-specific failure mechanisms resulting from mechanical component stress
• In-depth knowledge of image processing measurement programs and in test-related and department-specific management and control programs
• Strong team skills and structured and goal-oriented working methods
• German: fluent / negotiation level
• English: advanced
• Basic knowledge of French would be an advantage
