In order to build on the success of the "Volontariat international en entreprise" (VIE) programme we are looking for volunteers in the field of technology and R& D consulting at ALTRAN in Germany for a period of approximately 12 months (negotiable).

Your roles and responsibilities:

• As a Consultant on the VIE programme you will work in a project team and support our clients in solving a technology challenge.
• Depending on your academic background and practical experience your assignment will involve a variety of project stages: technical/strategic studies, research and development and/or implementation.
• During your time on the VIE programme you will have the opportunity to work in a number of different projects and will be able to gather valuable experience in an international context.

Your profile:

• You have successfully gained your MSc, Diploma (or equivalent) in engineering specializing in aerospace, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
• Ideally you have also gained initial experience in technical projects or in consulting in the aerospace, automotive or energy sectors.

In addition you are familar with one or more of the following areas:

• Aircraft or automotive construction
• Undercarriage dynamics, or vehicle acoustics
• Numeric simulations
• Testing
• Thermal/ Thermodynamics/Aerodynamics
• Systems integration

• Ideally you are proficient in English and German.
