YOUR ROLE
Kuehne + Nagel is currently seeking a skilled manager in the Contract Logistics business to lead the operations of a global key account in EMEA region. This role is responsible for creating and implementing the strategy for business success in line with corporate Contract Logistics guidelines and in close partnership with the current local operations in Spain, France and Germany. The jobholder will have a disciplinary reporting line into the SVP Customer & Operations Excellence EMEA. The purpose is to maintain and develop profitable operations, while ensuring corporate policies so as to enable targeted results.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring strong renewal strategies to achieve established goals, in terms of business retention and sustainable development.
- Design and ownership of the customer engagement plan upon corporate standards and methodology.
- Steering and monitoring service performance throughout EMEA region.
- Alignment of projects, follow-up on KPIs and delivery of growth opportunities and innovation.
- Steering the development and transformation of the current IS platform.
- Establishing a cross-country account expert community to align on continuous improvement projects and facilitate best practice between all EMEA sites.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Degree in Business Administracion and Management or similar.
- 10 years logistics experience, of which minimum 5 gained in an E-commerce environment.
- Operational and front line customer management experience.
- Strong leadership, relationship building and influencing skills.
- Fluent in English. Other language skills are highly favoured.
- Travel requirements: envisaged to be up to 60%.
