Missions

• Workplace Location: SWISSPACER Switzerland Kreuzlingen
• Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Technical support for processing of SWISSPACER bar, especially for customers to be switched from competition to the SWISSPACER bar
• Assistance for commissioning of new processing equipment in order to reach a good level of process reliability
• Training and instruction of SWISSPACER users
• Continuous improvement of products and processes by establishing a strong link to the central technical team
• Build up a profound knowledge about production processes and functional as well as quality related requirements applicable to the product
• Coordination of sample production and following tests at internal and external testing institutes

Qualifications and Skills

• Completed apprenticeship as Polytechnician, Automation Engineer or engineering degree
• Very good expertise in mechatronic engineering / automation
• First relevant work experience in this field would be desirable
• Background knowledge on window and insulation glass industry is advantageous
• Fluent in German and English; French would be a plus
• Fluency with MS Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel software
• Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze and structure complex sets of circumstances quickly and reliably
• Good intercultural communication skills linked to an independent work-ethic and good assertiveness
• Prepared to travel up to 50 %
