Tasks & accountabilities

• Develop solutions for human-driven analysis of both simulated and real-world data relevant to Loads & Aeroelastics, while maintaining an intuitive user experience and a wide range of analytic capabilities
• Develop techniques to analyze Airline in-flight data to support services to be offered to Airline customers
• Design and develop high-quality product features from end-to-end, highly scalable, highly available, using a variety of frameworks and tools from the Big Data ecosystem
• Conduct researches on new technologies and solutions, complete proof of concepts and apply these new findings into our current environment
• Define, implement new processes and refine the existing ones
• Determine external loads and support of flight test campaigns by means of sophisticated data analytic methods
• Contribute to the aircraft optimization process, provide external loads and aeroelastics analysis, sensitivity studies and a component view for structural design.

Required skills

• Educated to degree level in Information Technology/Computer Science/Mathematics/Physics or similar
• Experience in Big Data Analysis
• Ideally first experience in applying Big Data Analysis to Engineering
• Agile/Scrum culture
• First experience in Project Management
• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem, Big Data querying tools
• Negotiation level of English
• German skills would be a plus.
