C++ Software Engineer for MBUX Voice Assistant – CarFunctions (m/w/d), Berlin

Your Mission

As a member of the Embedded Speech Team, you will enable speech assistant technologies in the in-vehicle infotainment. As a Software Engineer in an agile team, you will develop features as well as design, document, implement, integrate and test your code. You will collaborate on daily bases with different Mercedes Benz AG entities, bringing the next generation infotainment system to the market.

Your Profile

Experience:

• Experience with modern C++ 14/17/20
• Experience with version control (preferably Git)
• Experience with modern CMake
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices (e.g. Agile software development, code reviews)

Nice to Have:

• Experience in unit testing (such as GTest) and CI/CD (preferably Jenkins)
• Experience with Yocto
• Familiar with Python
• Experience with IPC/RPC frameworks
• Open-Source Background

Personal Skills:

• Proficiency in problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues
• Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills
• Personal initiative, commitment, perseverance and resilience
• Team player. Be able to review code developed be others, giving meaningful feedback to ensure code quality, best practices, style guidelines, testability, readability and efficiency
• Proficient in English, German is a plus
