Your tasks

• Project management and technical advice in the context of national and international automation projects
• Analysis of the latest automation technologies as well as evaluation of their applicability in the existing production and logistics environment of various companies of the group
• Advising all hierarchical levels of the group on new automation technologies
• Elaboration of new automation concepts and planning of implementation in close cooperation with engineering teams and plants
• Establishment and maintenance of an internal and external network including stimulation of knowledge transfer between business units
• Techno and patent watch in the field of Smart Manufacturing & Robotics

Your profile

• University degree in the area of engineering with a focus on automation technology (M.Sc./Eng., Dipl.-Ing./Inf.) or comparable studies with a focus on logistics and/or supply chain
• Experience with autonomous platforms (FTS/AGV) or in logistics is an advantage
• Expertise in the field of Industry 4.0 technologies is an advantage
• Knowledge of CAD-based simulation tools is an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Creativity and desire to work in a team in an international environment
• Enthusiasm and initiative
