Your challenges

  • Bring Human Factors expertise on critical & complex cockpit layouts, functions, technologies and operations by working in a multidisciplinary team composed of pilots, designers, training centers representatives, safety specialists, and various experts from the design office.
  • Analyze the needs and factors influencing human performance, develop recommendations to be taken into account in the design of flying fleets or future products and lead the Human Factors evaluations
  • Carry out projects with partners and universities in order to develop scientific knowledge with the aim of continuously improving aviation safety.
  • Represent Airbus in international working groups dealing with regulation evolution or Safety Enhancement initiatives.

Your boarding pass

  • Master Degree or Phd in applied UX Human Factors field, with specific knowledge of human behavior (perception, understanding, problem solving ) & characteristics (impact of fatigue, stress, workload, Situation Awareness, experience, competence, motivation, personality ...) and HF methods applied to complex system design
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems and flight operations
  • Knowledge of HF related certification regulations applied to large commercial aircraft
  • Large experience in aeronautical fields such as airline, aircraft manufacturer or aeronautical authorities and/or pilot license are a significant plus.
  • Ability to speak up, justify and defend a position in challenging situations.
  • Negotiation level of English.
