At the earliest possible date, the breeding company is looking for a:

IT Manager - Sustainable Animal Husbandry (m/f/d), Bremen area

What we are counting on you for - your tasks

• Mastery of digital technologies in the company: You are proficient in the company's digital technologies, software and information systems. You are able to understand the challenges of cyber security and data protection.
• Structuring the IT service: Under the responsibility of the Head of Digital Transformation, based in France, you will be the IT manager in charge of ensuring and optimising the smooth functioning of the company's entire IT (Germany and France). In other words, you will act as an interface between the French and German IT teams.
• Manage the information systems for Germany in collaboration with the French team: business processes, applications, systems and networks.
• Use of a diverse technological environment: open source web applications, BI (PowerBI, QlickSense), databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL), data flows (Talend, Opcon, Mulesoft).
• Participation in the creation of the company's digital plan.
• Project management in collaboration with the French and German teams and external service providers.
• The ERP system will be implemented throughout the company in 2025, with the IT Manager playing a key role as the central point of contact for the coordination of related projects.

• Degree in Computer Science (IT specialist or equivalent qualification).
• Previous experience in a similar position is an advantage.
• Required personal qualities: high flexibility, team spirit, adaptability, commitment, the ability to work and communicate effortlessly in a multicultural environment (mainly Germany/France), attention to detail, and a methodical approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and planning software.
• Fluent English skills (C1 level, both written and spoken). English is the company language.
• Fluent German skills (C1 level).
• French language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work in an unstructured work environment.
