Junior Financial Controller (m/f), Stolberg

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Implementation of a backup function for the Financial Director of SWISSPACER
• Improvement and simplification of the Finance and Controlling processes in
• the international environment of SWISSPACER
• Improvement and simplification of the reporting structure
• Business partner for other departments of SWISSPACER
• Month-end close activities, financial reporting, root-cause analysis, variance reporting/analysis and incremental financial analysis/reporting
• Annual budget process, setting standard costs for the factory budgets
• Internal controls, process efficiency improvements and digital initiatives
• Cooperation with Saint Gobain Central Finance Teams in Paris and Aachen

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor/Master in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• 2-3 years’ experience as Consultant/Advisor in an accounting company or as Financial Analyst/Controller in an international industrial company
• Good analytical skills
• Proficient use of SAP in a Finance/Controlling environment
• Thorough knowledge of MS Windows tools (Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
• Team player with active communication skills and readiness to travel
• Motivated and customer oriented behaviour
• Very good skills in German and English (both spoken and written), other language skills like French or Polish are a plus
