Maintenance Methods Engineer (m/f/d), Friedrichsdorf

The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.

These challenges await you:
Deploy and oversee Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) processes to optimize equipment performance (MTTR, MTBF, TRP)
manage and update technical documentation and work instructions
Propose and control maintenance budgets, including overheads, labor, and spare parts inventory
Lead maintenance-related productivity improvements and QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) processes
Ensure spare parts inventory is well-maintained and equipment FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) is up to date
Collaborate with process teams and maintenance supervisors for equipment industrialization, ensuring compliance with VSDP & IPROM standards
Develop and implement safety standards, lead safety QRQC, and ensure safety culture is adhered to throughout the organization
Assess environmental impacts of equipment and incorporate safety measures in design according to local and Group regulations
Develop team expertise, manage workforce planning, and support competence transfer and human resource needs
You inspire us with:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
Experience in People and Budget Management
Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical field
Preferred experience as Maintenance Method Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor
Proficiency in German and English
