  • Translate business system architects (e.g. System of System, product, manufacturing…) or design engineers (e.g. need to design in context) questions (e.g. exploration, validation…) into integrated sets of multi-disciplinary simulation leveraging specialized domain approaches and simulation models. This work needs to be aligned with the applicable processes defined by the business architects.

  • Specify with the specialized domain simulation teams the needed interfaces, sensitivities & uncertainties, to be implemented to allow these simulation to be leveraged in a multi-disciplinary simulation framework.

  • Develop uncertainties & sensitivities quantification and propagation strategy, allowing to provide margins on the global multi-disciplinary results provided.

  • Develop together with IT architects the roadmap and the technical solutions to implement the framework

  • Support the deployment and maturation of the framework with targeted end users.

Your key deliverables

  • You will be in charge of the following deliverables:
  • Initial set of key simulation hypothesis for a system of interest: Verification & Validation outputs needed, physical phenomenon / drivers to take into account, coupling status, requested accuracy…
  • Idealization of the SOI design, per discipline, for simulation purpose
  • Down selection of models, numerical strategies & simulation tools to be used
  • Building models landscape, including its metamodel/ontology, validation, in a structured enterprise architecture framework
  • Roadmap at different horizons depending on Group programmes / projects
  • Elicitation of configuration management (and globally transversal) needs at models integration and collaborative platform levels
  • KPI definition to measure the effectiveness and performance of the models landscape
  • Consistency of methodologies / use cases / requirements for tool chain implementation, in association with IS/IT architects, as well as upwards applicability to business processes
  • Global/transversal training material / skillset
