Senior Manager Content Acquisition France (m/f), Berlin

Your Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate and maintain the business relationship with the content providers (authors, agents, publishers) 
• Significantly increase title selection and count by optimizing partnerships, identifying content gaps and acquiring missing partners from all areas in the spoken word industry. Manage the on-going relationship with content provider to maximize its overall effectiveness
• Work with Marketing and merchandising team on key sales, subscriber acquisition and retention and revenue metrics as well as identify relevant trends that will impact business development, content acquisition and merchandizing
• Meet quarterly objectives consistent with the company's objectives.

Notwendige Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Excellent skills in French and English language, German language optional
• Solid experience in publishing, literary agency, television, film or music negotiating rights agreements and managing relationships with content owners and creators
• Broad understanding of popular culture across all main media types. Excellent negotiation skills, solid knowledge of copyright law and contractual work in the licensing field.
• Solid business and financial analytical and transactional skills sufficient to understand the essential underlying deal economics 
• Independent, entrepreneurial, passionate self-starter with a focus on excellence 
• Ability to operate in a high-energy, high-intensity and rapidly evolving environment
