Your tasks

• Define requirements for defect qualification device: illumination, inspection conditions, engineering
• Develop optical analysis tools for defects
• Coordinate internal and external exchange with manufacturing (workshop…) and potential internal customers at Saint-Gobain Glass Industry (SGGI) for defect qualification device
• Validate suitability of defect qualification device for several types of defects
• Support development of IT related topics (e.g. image processing, machine learning)
• Roll out to customers at SGGI
• Elaborate presentations & notes

Your profile

• University background in engineering or science: physics, optics, mechanical engineering (M.Sc./Eng.)
• Programming skills, preferred Microsoft.NET framework, Python, C
• Independent, self-driven and well-structured way of working
• Passionate and motivated team player and good communication skills
• Good command of spoken and written English, German basics if possible
